Mr. O’Shea is an experienced trial attorney practicing law for over 30 years

His main areas of practice involve trial law in all phases of Divorce and Matrimonial Law, Family Law issues in Family Court and Criminal Defense in various courts in New York and in New Jersey. He has extensive experience in residential and commercial Real Estate matters including contracts and closings. Mr. O’Shea also handles plaintiff’s Personal Injury matters.

He represents clients in the various Courts of New Jersey in the Divorce/Matrimonial area, residential real estate as well as Criminal Defense in New Jersey Superior Court  and all phases of representation in the various Municipal Courts in New Jersey.

Mr. O’Shea graduated from St John's University School of Law in 1973 and practiced for 4 years in the Bronx District Attorneys office and for 12 years in the Richmond County District Attorney's Office, where he was designated Bureau Chief of the Supreme Court Bureau.

In addition to beings admitted to the Bar of the State of New York, and being an active member of the Richmond County Bar Association, Joseph O’Shea, Esq. is admitted as well to the Bar of the State of New Jersey.

 

LAURIE TOMASZEWSKI, ESQ
Appellate Counsel

Ms. Tomaszewski focuses her practice on drafting and arguing appeals before the Appellate Courts of New York State.

Ms. Tomaszewski’s previous experience includes serving for two years as an Appellate Court Attorney in the Supreme Court, Appellate Division for the 2nd  Judicial Department where she handled a wide range of both Civil and Criminal Court matters. Most recently, Ms. Tomaszewski worked for approximately two years in the appellate department of the medical malpractice defense firm Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP.

Ms. Tomaszewski received her J.D from St. John's University School Of Law in 1999. She is admitted to practice before the New York State Courts.
